Sharon Alvandi (She/her/hers), MAT, MSW, LMSW, LCSW-S received her MSW and a certificate in communal leadership from the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 2017. Since 2010, she has taught/facilitated classes and groups while working on projects in the realms of education, refugee resettlement, ending gender based violence in communities, and faith-based learning. Sharon serves on the board of the Batterer Intervention Services Coalition of Michigan and works as a clinician and lecturer in Texas. Using a strengths-based approach, Sharon meets her clients and students where they’re at to develop critical consciousness and their praxis in healing work.
